Sassy Snow Day.

Looks like we have about 12 inches of snow coming, one whole foot of SNOW! So to keep things positive I took a little twist with the colors, thanks Callyn for helping pick them out! :)

Finally another konad-icure! I was all out of acetone (nightmare!) and had to wait until my day off, yesterday, to stock up. We have had SO much snow here lately, 2 days ago we got 4 inches and today were supposed to get 7 inches, its a Winter Wonderland out there!

So to liven my spirits I decided to do something other than a manicure with MORE snowflakes, I decided on China Glaze - VIII as a base coat and stamped with Love My Nails - Gold Dust 1585 (Which stamps REALLY well by the way!) The VIII is SUCH a dark purple that it almost looks black, especially since we have NO sunlight here! :( I aboslutely love using the China Glaze - Strong Adhesion Base Coat, my nail polish will stay on for 3x longer than it ever has! Even though im constantly changing it anyways! I was SO excited to find out the Zoya promotion for 3 FREE fullsized nail polishes on facebook, all you have to pay is $6.95 for shipping! 365 Days Of Nail Art.

While enjoying my morning coffee and perusing the world wide web I decided to check out 365 Days Of Nail Art (a new obsession of mine!) and SURPRISE, I was featured today with my China Glaze - For Audrey nails!

As you can tell I couldn't decide what to do on my nails so I just did a little bit of everything, It was my 2nd or 3rd mani after I had gotten my Konad so I went a little crazy! Whats your favorite plate?

Snowed In Nails.

When I woke up this morning there was a white blanket of the fluffy stuff covering everything outside, So much that I didn't have to go to work! So since I was stuck inside the house all day I decided to do a "snow-y day manicure"

I started off by filing, buffing, and painting the basecoat on (white with the exception of the ring finger) I used Pure Ice "Superstar" and Orly "Blue Collar" waited for that to dry and then stamped some snowflakes on with my Konad plate M59. I also added a clear rhinestone on the ring finger applied with clear nail polish and tweezers.
